Joe Connolly is a Managing Director at Crown Capital, focusing on portfolio company operations. In his role, Joe works hands-on with portfolio company leadership teams to drive operational execution, strengthen performance, and support value creation across Crown’s investments.

Prior to joining Crown, Joe served as a CEO, CFO, and board-level advisor across manufacturing, logistics, business services, retail, and technology-enabled businesses. Over his career, he has led or supported more than 30 operating engagements and 11 acquisitions totaling over $300 million. His experience includes scaling and positioning a $55 million logistics business for sale, restructuring a $140 million private-equity-backed retailer back to profitability, and helping grow Risk Management Alternatives (“RMA”) from $10 million to $250 million in revenue.

Joe earned a B.S. in Accounting from Boston College and an MBA in Management from the University of Northern Colorado. He also completed the Executive Leadership Program at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Joe is a U.S. Army veteran, having served as a Captain and Ranger, and was Airborne-qualified.
